Frankenstein interpreted by Terry Seo


Frankenstein seek the secret of life which was only known to God. He wanted to create the human life by his own hands " Life ideal bounds, which I should first break through-ch4."
His pure desire for knowledge soon tarnished and became obsession.In addition,the knowledge of science gave Frankenstein the ability to "Play God" ,crossing the forbidden line. Creating life was forbidden and still is strictly regulated, since it belongs to only God's authority
The punishment for mimicking God was far distressed than Frankenstein thought. After the creature killed Frankenstein's family, Frankenstin lamented from perpetual suffering from his conscience Literally, Frankenstein suffered living torture like he said "I had desired it with an ardour that far exceeded moderation;but now that I had finished, the beauty of the dream vanished, and breathless horror and disgust filled with my heart" in Ch5. pg 43
