Frankenstein intepreted by John M.

Victor Frankenstein's purpose of trying to create his monster was to create life. By doing this, he took on a God personality because he knew that when he did this, he would go down in history. His knowledge was forbidden because God is the only one who can create life. Victor seems to know that his knowledge is forbidden because when he is trying to bring the monster to life because he says, "Curiosity, earnest to learn, the wider laws of nature." This means that Victor is doing this simply for his own curiosity and lust for glory.
