I think that genetic engineering is one of those few things that science makes that can be very god if used correctly, and very bad if used in the wrong way. In a good way, it can be used to mutate gene and cells so it can cure a disease and to help rid the world of all of these things. A bad way, though not necessarily bad but wasteful in resources and brain power are the tests that scientists are doing to make kittens glow. Is it cool? Yes. But it's a total waste and it's not going to get us farther in any way at all.
