Frankenstein was fascinated by the mystery of the creation of life. He studied how the human body is built and how it falls apart. It is forbidden because people are very religious and close to God. To impersonate God and call yourself a god is blasphemy in the eyes of many people. In my opinion, it wasn't worth it for Victor to create life. At first, he was so proud that he was able to make man from scratch but later on in the book, he grew disgusted with his creation. Victor grew a cold heart towards the creature. After Frankenstein dies, the creature says, " I, the miserable and the abandoned, am an abortion, to be spurned at, and kicked, and trampled on." The monster questions the injustice of how he has been treated. This makes us wonder if life is really worth it.
